Cinny Pastel hatched out on 8/1/05............1
egg went bad, and there was a baby
Cinny dead outside the egg ( # 6 ).......sometimes
a baby will emerge still connected
to the yolk and die..........they
must pull themselve's too much and
rip their cord inside their bellies.
This was a nice clutch otherwise...........I
did well producing Cinnys this season.....;)

8/5/05..........the Striped Albino
female hatched out on 8/3/05............she
died out side of her egg......the
rest of her clutch mates hatched today.
I
usually have a baby or two each season
come out of the egg, stretch out and
die........she was plump and completely
developed...........and she is wayyyyyyy
Stripped!!..........
The
Ball Python Gods must have wanted
her for some reason or another.......:(
I
snapped a shot of her for everyone
to see what a Striped Albino looks
like.........I have other eggs incubating,
so hopefully I'll hatch another one.......
KNOW
THIS........as your collection
becomes more "high end"
as with your projects.............be
PREPARED for some
heart break.........it's brutal......and
you WILL experience it sooner or later......it's
the part of the BIZ that you just
can't get a grip on...........
I
can't complain one bit about this
season...............I've been real
lucky and I'm thankful for what I
have produced, so I gotta get over
this little "bump" and look
forward to the rest of my clutches...........:)

female ( Mom ) was produced from breeding
a DH Jolliff Snow male to het VPI
Axanthic female back in 2001.......at
the time I was trying to "get
lucky" and see if the Jolliff
Axanthic line was compatible with
the VPI Axanthic line.......maybe

any of you remember.......this is
the DH female that escaped awhile
back........we fished her out of the
drain tile in the basement just before
she ovulated.........hehehehe.........(

Striped Albino, 0.1 Albino 66% possible
het for Stripe and 1.0 possible double
het for Stripe Albino hatched out
on 8/7/05.........3 eggs went bad
in this clutch.
Man
ol' man did this clutch make me happy....;).........I
got my "little girl" Striped
Albino back!!.......and she is so
puurrrty.........a lot more orange
than the first one that passed on.
Maybe the lack of orange in the first
one is a "clue"?
As
you can see, this little girl is totally
striped from head to tail with a "normal"
Albino colored stripe ( dorsal )............then
that dorsal stripe is bordered on
each side with patches of white......these
white patches will vary according
to how much of the dark color that
borders the dorsal stripe actually
sets in on the snake ( dark color
turns white )............and then
there is the GORGEOUS orange body
and head.............I'm thrilled
with the results!!......I was picturing
a Striped Albino with a normal "yellow"
like the regular Albinos.
The
Striped Lavender Albino is gonna KICK
ASS!!!
This
little girl was inside her Momma when
"Momma" escaped and hid
in the drain-tile pipe for a few days........she
was captured in the pipe on 3/12/05.....she
ovulated and then had her pre-lay
shed on 5/10/05............and this
is what I got!!
The
Ball Python Gods are with me..........two
Striped Albinos out of eight eggs!!
