breeding a Clown
male "AND" a het Clown male to
a het Clown female.....I bred my very cool
"Wicked
Clown" male back to his Mom ( 1st
).....he bred her well in the first part
of breeding season.........he started to
"poop out" so I backed him up
with his Father.........I expect Clowns
in this clutch, just not sure who "Pop"
will be?......maybe more "Wicked Clowns".......this
clutch looks "weak" to me...........(

male ( offspring from my Original
Butter male ) to a normal appearing
female who is either the daughter
of my "Original Butter"
male or Platty Daddy...........this
female is from 2001 clutch # 43.......I
was breeding both the Butter male
and Platty Daddy to her normal Mom
( nf # 18 )..........I wasn't sure
who the Father was??.............and
no Lessers or Butters were produced
in the 4 egg clutch ( 3.1 sibs ).............sooooooo...........I
figured I would breed her back into
the Butter bloodline and roll the
dice ..........basically it's a long
shot.....breeding a visible Butter
to a "Butter sib"...........kinda
like the way I produced my first Platties
by breeding Lesser x Lesser sib...........blah,
blah, blah..........( 01 het but f
# 1 )

sib hatched out on 6/13/05...........WOW!!....I
have to admit.........I didn't expect
to see this pale little beauty........I
would think that the normal sib mother
of this clutch is a daughter from
Platty Daddy......so I crossed the
Butter bloodline with the Platty bloodline
and produced a "Butter/Platty".........just
like I did in the past by breeding
Lesser males to normal Lesser sib
females..........I'm calling this
little female "Butter/Platty".......now
I have to breed the Butters back to
the normal Butter sib females to see
if the Butter will eventually produce
a "Butter Daddy"..........more
confusion.....and I love it!!!!.............Rock
On!!!!
This
little "Butter/Platty" female
has a slightly different color than
a Platty Daddy..............her side
pattern is more colorful..........the
Butter trait is influencing the look
of this little gem...;)

Butter" male to an 01 Platty
"sib" female...........this
female is a normal looking daughter
of Platty Daddy ............she was
one of 4 "sib" females that
I bred in 2004 to other "sib"
males.............trying to see if
I could produce some type of simple
recessive hypo trait out of the Platty
bloodline.........none of the sib
x sib breedings produced anything
special.......all normal looking offspring..........BUT
when I bred 01 Lesser males to 01
sib females I produced Platties??...............so
that is why I bred a Butter male to
this Platty sib female...............maybe
something cool will happen?..........this
is "dinkin" on STERIODS!!..........(

Butter hatched out on 6/13/05..........just
like clutch # 16.......YIKES!!.........so
what does this mean????.........is
my original Butter male Platty Daddy's
long lost brother from Africa??........these
little beauties are "why"
I did this breeding in the first place........but
I honestly didn't think it would work
like this..........yeah I "though
it" and "hoped it"..........but
didn't see how it could happen with
unrelated bloodlines?.........as you
can see........there are 4 gorgeous
little "Butter Platties"...........and
they look different than Platty Daddys...........I
can see both Platty Daddy and the
Butter trait on these little knock-outs!!...........especially
in the side pattern.......light pinks
and oranges........the two "Butters"
are darker than the ones I have produced
in the past........so they are probably
being influenced by this cross as
well. So now I gotta breed Butter
X Butter and Butter X Butter sib to
see if I can produce "Butter
Daddys" and of course see if
I can produce white snakes within
the Butter bloodline.........this
may be the "Platty Project"
all over again....talk about a "treat".......and
the two bloodlines is a major PLUS!!!........I'm
gonna keep sayin' it PEOPLE!!...........NOTHING
SURPRISES ME WITH BALL PYTHONS ANYMORE!!..........it's
a huge "grab bag"..........patience
and consistency, seeing a project
through......good things WILL happen!!.....I
put "sibs" on the Bleepin'
map!!.........ROCK ON!!!!!!

out clutch # 17 and # 18 I figured
that this clutch would produce something
"gold plated" with flames
shooting from it's ass.........LOL..........I
think I may have a Butter, a Lesser
and a "Butter Lesser Cross"
in this clutch........who knows?........4
white snakes would have been a lot
easier to figure out,,,,,hehehe........I
guess I can say this much........my
Butter and Platty bloodlines seem
to "mesh".......as far as
a "Daddy Types" so far.......I
think producing the "Butter Platties"
proves that they are compatible........but
how??..........what is it with this
"hidden trait" in the sibs?.......all
three of these little "mutts"
are gonna be called "Butter Lessers"
for now..........I need a Calgon bath!!!!!!
