From breeding a Super Pastel male to a Cinnamon female.............this is the female I was "dinkin" with last year and she produced a baby Cinnamon male??..........I seen that Greg Graziani produced Pewters from breeding a Pastel to a Cinnamon last season.......sooooooo maybe I will too??...............every baby will be a pastel in this clutch..........what ain't a Pastel will be a Pewter ( Cin / Pastel Cross )......"If I have a Cinnamon momma here??"".........:).........( lou's girl )

From breeding a wild caught "Burgundy" male to a normal female.......this male was imported in as an adult and bred well for me this season..........he is my "second" line of Burgundy.............I expect a couple clutches this season from my "original" DH Arctic X Burgs..........my original Burgundy line is genetic..........the "Burg color" becomes more obvious with age..........I have no clue if this "new line" is genetic or not? ( 99 gs f # 2 )

3.2 hatched out on 07/04/04...........one egg was pretty funky during incubation in this clutch..........I pipped it when all the rest of the babies started to pip.......there was a smaller than average baby in the egg with a lot of yolk left to absorb............it ended up dying..........BUT..........it appeared to be a tanish yellow and a rusty color...............so I have no idea if it was a baby "Burg type 2 " or just a preemie that did not color up...........the next "Burg type 2" clutch may show me more......?..........a couple of the babies in this clutch have a deep raspberry color where the black should be, as well as being a little more "orange" than usual.............who knows??.............THIS IS DINKING!!!....;)

3.2 hatched out on 07/05/04...........nothing "special" that I can see in this clutch other than the baby pictured in the center is pale compared to the rest??...........I would think that "hyponess" that I'm trying to "single out" would be more extreme .........maybe the "Lucy Trait" and the hyponess are connected somehow??.......OR.........the normal sibs I have been producing are only possible hets??..........CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........remember in 2003.........Lesser x normal sib..........that pairing produced "Platty Daddys"........so some of these normal sibs have to have something going on with them..........the normal sib females that have produced "Daddys" are probably the ones I should try to breed "unknown" normal sib males to............that would increase my chances ..........I would have to "waste" a breeding on the "known" Daddy producing normal sib females...........but it would help answer some questions.........it "probably" all bares on the dominant part on this puzzle........

From breeding a Black Head male to a Ghost / Hypo female.............I proved the Black Heads to be genetic two years ago...........I think a "Hypo Black Head" will look gorgeous with all the blushing....;)............this clutch will produce het Hypos and Black Heads het Hypo ( ghost f # 1 )

3.2 Black Head het Hypo and 1.3 het Hypo hatched out on 07/06/04...........this season I bred the two "first generation" males to this Hypo female...........the "Black Heads" produced this year are slightly different than the two prior years........they have a more auburn look to them..........these will make KILLER little Hypo babies.............:)...........this is without a doubt a dominant trait "so far"...........I wonder if the fact that the Black Heads are het Hypo is altering their "blackness" this season???

From breeding a pair of Lesser Platties together..........this is the first breeding of Lesser X Lesser here at RDR..............and I got three stinkin' eggs!!.............small ones at that...........:)...........this season I did Platty Daddy X Lesser three times, Lesser X Lesser one time..............and I will get four clutches from Lesser Sib X Lesser Sib...............I should be able to figure something out this season with the "Platty"??..........I hope there is a "Super" ( 01 lesser f # 6 )

2.0 hatched out 07/06/04.........this is from Lesser X Lesser............one egg went bad early during incubation.........now I'm not positive what these 2 males are?..........they look "better" than a Lesser but not as good as a Platty Daddy baby........maybe one is a Super Lesser?..............maybe they are just both Bad Ass little Lessers.........I don't know?..........it would have been easier just to have two lucys in the clutch........hehehe......;P..............I need to produce more Lesser x Lesser clutches and get some real numbers to judge...............so for now this is the best I can do...........two KILLER little babies...........they are both very unique looking for sure............I'm not saying they are SUPERS............but they could be..........stay tuned....;)

From breeding a het Lavender Albino male to a "normal" Albino female..........hopefully this clutch will show me if the two Albino traits are compatible or not?.......so far all the eggs I have produced from Lav x "normal albino" in the past have gone bad?.( alb f # 4 xtreme )

Clutch went bad

This entire clutch went bad??.............I don't know if I'm having some terrible luck or what?...........I can't get any of the eggs to stay alive when I cross the "normal Albino" with the Lavender Albino........this season I figured I would play it "safe" and breed a het Lavender to an Albino.........nadda......I'll try again next season .......hopefully some other breeders will do the same..........I'd love to know if the two are compatible.
