1.1 spider, 0.1 sib and 1.0 "Banana Bird Eater" hatched out on 8/20/07........yes I said "Banana".........you can catch up on some of the history of this female ( mom ) if you check out 2004 clutch # 35 on the 2004 Birthing record pages.

You'll see that she was named "Banana" wayyyyyy back in 2000....I brought her in from Africa as a sub-adult in March of 2000. Always thought she was "something"..........I bred my Desert lemon male to her in 04 and produced some Desert Lemons.......but nothing looked like her in the clutch.

This season I thought it was possible that she was a "Enchi Pastel"???..........so I bred a Spider male to her and played it down as her being a "pretty reduced pattern"...........well as you can see...........she definitely had a BIG part in the way this KICK ASS little Spider turned out.

I hatched out two Enchi Spiders this season and they are similar to the "Bird".......but the Bird is much cleaner and reduced and has a lot more white up the sides.......the sides are very, very white..........and there is a cool yellow border at the belly......not to mention.........it's YELLOW maxed out!!

I'm gonna work this project out and see if I can produce 'Mom" on it's own.........this new little male "Bird" is gonna be the start of a really cool project with some very interesting crosses...........I'm stoked!!
