3.2 "Granite Albino" hatched out on 7/12/08.....1 egg in this clutch went bad....they look like very nice Albinos as did 04 clutch # 79......the Albinos from 04 clutch # 79 matured into "Mom's color" to some degree but not as extreme. All but 1 baby in this clutch are "tweaked"..........short lower lips and slightly deformed snouts..........1 has no eyes at all..........

This clutch is a "flash back" of 06 clutch # 12 which was a total disaster clutch........04 clutch # 79 was breeding a "regular Albino" male to the Granite Albino female.....all were perfect from that clutch............06 clutch # 12 was breeding her het son back to here with bad results............this season was her homozygous Albino son back to her........we have "life"..........but line breeding is definitely out of the question with this project...........The Albinos she has produced in the past are "knock outs"........this is a tuff one..........

2.1 Lesser Platty and 1.3 Phantom hatched out on 7/11/08..........so far every time I have bred "Karma" to a normal I get a mix of Lessers and Phantoms with no normals........Karma is POWERFUL!!

From breeding a "Chain-Linked" pattern female back to her "Het" son. Mom produced a 5 egg clutch in 2004 ( 04 clutch # 29 ).....she was bred to a male with the same pattern and the babies produced were "semi-busy"......so I'm seeing this project to the end thru line breeding.......we shall see?? ( 01 chainlink f # 1 )

1.0 "Butter Daddy", 0.1 Butter and 1.2 Butter Daddy Sib hatched out on 7/16/08.......my first "Butter Daddy" of the season.......as you can see, the "Platty Riddle Gene" came into play in this clutch.........this year is my first season producing "Butter Daddy" sibs..........and I'm sure that they will pack the same punch as a "Platty Daddy" sib.....the little male sib ( 08 butter daddy sib male # 1 ) in this clutch was born "tweaked" and died shortly after hatching.

1.2 "Calico/Lesser", 0.3 Calico hatched out on 7/16/08. Now this is what the heck a "Calico/Lesser" should look like!!.....as you can see, one is more extreme than the other two.........the Calico trait blended very well with the Lesser trait and I can only imagine a "Calico Platty" or a "Super Calico Platty".

I snapped these pics after vacation and they had already started to "haze up" from going into first shed. I'll be sure to get better pics and do some vid clips once they shed out..........I got dibs on "Cookies and Cream".......HA!!!

I love the way the side pattern is all blended together and stretched out!!.......wayyyyyy cool combo!!..........leaves 07 clutch # 66 in the DUST!!.......Rock On!!!
