The "Granite" has been around since I can remember ..........I think every breeder has a group of "Granite" Imports set up in a nice breeding group. I have bred for "Granites" for several years with no results ..............meaning no results in a simple recessive way or a dominant way. I finally did produce some baby Granites in 2003 from breeding one of my best Imported Granite females. I produced three baby Granites from four eggs.......so I would think this is a dominant trait. Will there be a "Super"??? There are other proven lines of Granites in breeder's collection..........they just don't get talked about too much....;)..........we are all still "dinkin".............

Not every Granite will be genetic ( produce baby Granites like Mom or Dad )..........I've figured out that much ( I bombed plenty ).......and I know I'm not the only breeder who has produced them. The picture above is from "my line".
