ANERYTHRISTIC_BOA_CONSTRICTOR

Anerythristic Boa ConstrictorScientific Name: Boa constrictor imperator
Common Name:
Boa Constrictor
Morph:
Anerythristic
Genetics: Simple Recessive

These are beautiful color mutations in the boa constrictor........the anerythristic's lack all yellow and red pigment, leaving a gorgeous black, white and silver boa.......they are the " Axanthics" of the boa world.........this is how a SNOW BOA is produced...........by breeding anerythristic x albino.........all babies will be double heterozygous for SNOW........meaning that the babies will be carrying two genes.........anery and albino.............when breeding double het for Snows together............1 out of every 16 babies should be a Snow Boa.......I produced a litter from a double het breeding that produced 32 babies...........there should have been 2 Snows at best............there were 4 !!!!!!!!!!!..........in 2002 I produced 5 baby Snow boas from a litter of 18 babies??????............so Mother Nature has a way of surprising us sometimes.
